Installation guide for Thunderbird on Windows

This guide is intended for users who wish to enjoy their Signitic signature on Thunderbird on their Windows.

1️⃣ Download the Signitic Agent

Download the Signitic Agent for Windows on your computer.

Warning: Several versions of the Signitic Agent are available. Check carefully which one is appropriate for your system.

2️⃣ Run the downloaded file

The installation will start instantly.

3️⃣ Log in

Connect via Google, Office 365 or with your login key.

4️⃣ If Outlook is not installed on your computer

If Outlook is not installed on your computer, please create a path for signatures to be added to your machine.

C:\Users\########{{Username}}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures

########{{Username}} is replaced with the user name of the session.

Note: The AppData folder is a hidden folder.

On the Signitic client, update your signature by clicking on the Update button on the bottom of your profile page. The signatures should now appear in the Signatures folder.

5️⃣ Account Settings

From the Thunderbird menu, navigate to Tools then Account Settings.

Note: If the menu bar does not appear, press the ALT key on the keyboard to display it.

In the left-hand menu, select your email then check the box Attach the signature from a file instead (text, HTML or image).

Then click Choose, navigate to the destination folder referred to in step 4, and then select the signature you want.

Your Signitic signature will be updated every night.

6️⃣ Signature for responses/transfers

If you wish to have a signature for responses and/or transfers, go to Account Settings, your email then Compostion & Addressing.
